To make Matt and Nicole’s experience truly personal, we encouraged them to choose a location that felt like home. Nicole suggested a bookstore or a café and we though that The Chestnut Cafe in Footscray, Melbourne, would be perfect for them.

As the day unfolded, we laughed and joked, immersing ourselves in the cozy atmosphere of the cafe. We joked about using AI to edit out the strangers in the background and it was in these candid moments that we captured the genuine affection they held for one another. These two could not stop laughing together and you could just tell they’re super excited to marry their best friend.

After their session, we just sat and talked in the bookstore about how Matt made an origami flower instead after Nicole mentioned she didn’t like flowers. He had only ever managed to successfully make one flower and he gave it to Nicole.
