It is about preserving not just how your day looked, but how it felt, the atmosphere, the connection, and the fleeting details that come together to form something that still feels true years from now.

SERVING MELBOURNE AND WORLDWIDE
Before we were married, we were best friends. Best friends who shared a love for travel. Upon arriving home from time spent solo-holidaying in the Philippines, Kat gifted Cristian a red notebook. Being a small gift that she plucked on a whim (although, red is his favourite colour) Kat didn’t realise just how much Cristian would document – film ideas, songs and poetry filled the pages. It became symbolic of creativity and a true recollection of the things we choose to keep close to our hearts.
We dated years later, connecting over our shared love of film and the wedding industry. Redbook Studios was brought to life by Cristian in 2019 and it became a joint venture shortly after – a collection of everything we loved from our own wedding day. Being able to revisit all the moments in digital photos, polaroids and vintage wedding film felt like holding those memories in our hands.
And that indescribable feeling is what we’ve gifted our couples ever since. Candid and nostalgic, brimming with authenticity and captured with intentionality—your very own red book.

Our why lives in the everyday moments, shared dinners lit by candlelight, long drives inspired by saved TikToks, and quiet mornings sipping green tea. It’s found in binge-watching films and analysing every detail, wandering art galleries, tending to our house plants, and coming home to our cats Zuko and Sansa, who never let us eat our breakfast in peace.
We’re endlessly inspired by travel, by leaving home and briefly convincing ourselves we don’t have to return. This way of living- observant, playful, and deeply connected shapes how we document weddings. Because the moments that matter most are often the ones unfolding quietly, in between everything else.
