It was September 9th, and the stage was set at the iconic National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) in Melbourne. This wasn’t just any engagement shoot; it was a return to the very spot where their love story began – their first date location in the bustling Melbourne Art Gallery.

Nerves and Natural Chemistry

Sahar and Nick initially felt a touch of nervousness. It’s entirely normal when you’re in the spotlight, but what unfolded was pure magic. They quickly settled into their natural selves, radiating love, playfulness, and an endearing goofiness that revealed their deep connection. They were effortlessly adorable when they thought no one was watching.

A Cinematic Romance

Sahar and Nick envisioned their engagement shoot as something out of a movie – romantic, cinematic, and filled with motion. In order to achieve this , we wanted their session to to remain authentic, capturing the essence of how they would interact on a date, alone together.

Exploring the Art Gallery in Melbourne

The NGV provided the perfect backdrop for their Melbourne art gallery engagement shoot. As they wandered through the gallery’s contemporary and classic art. Sahar and Nick’s journey toward marriage isn’t a hurried one. They’ve chosen to embark on a long engagement, an intentional decision to incorporate and celebrate their cultural traditions before their wedding day. Over the course of their engagement, they plan to partake in various cultural celebrations.

Creating space for candid moments

Sahar and Nick’s engagement session was filled with natural poses and candid moments. From unique engagement portraits against the art-filled walls to playful and romantic shots.
